Social Media Post

Social Media Post

These social media posts were designed in Adobe Illustrator, with Photoshop used for background removal. The project demonstrates proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop tools, including the pen, shape, gradient, direct selection, and shape builder.

I used shape, color, texture, and lines to create balanced compositions, applying principles like hierarchy to emphasize key information. For example, the Mountain Top Real Estate ad achieves balance through repeated shapes and colors.

Created for my portfolio, these posts followed Instagram’s size guidelines (1800 x 1800 pixels, 1:1 aspect ratio) for optimal resolution. Each design was exported as a high-quality JPEG.

Logo Design

Logo Design

I designed seven logos for various companies, three in Adobe Illustrator to showcase typography and tool proficiency, and four in Procreate for quick sketching and refinement.

Each logo incorporates key design elements like shape, line, color, white space, repetition, and contrast. For example, the Grassroots Landscape logo uses contrasting color circles and plant imagery for emphasis, while the Mountain Side Resort & Spa logo integrates typography as a focal point.

Researching design trends and color schemes informed my approach, ensuring each logo was both unique and effective. Several logos were created for clients, reinforcing the importance of aligning with their vision over personal style.

All client logos were designed in vector-based software for scalability and delivered in two formats: one optimized for web and social media, and another for print.

TOWN Restaurant

TOWN restaurant provides customers with a variety of Chinese cuisine that delight and excite their customers. They created a dining experience that is unique and more than just a night out. Their goals are to bring quality and luxury across all aspects of their brand. I produced a menu, brochure, table tent and website that reflected their high quality and luxurious brand.

The menu, brochure, and table tent for Town Restaurant were designed using Adobe InDesign to align with the owner’s vision for a luxurious, high-quality brand. Following the style guide, I used the specified colors, fonts, and logo to create a cohesive design featuring upscale food imagery. To ensure consistency, I applied design principles such as symmetry and balance. I selected two key colors—Sleek and Fire Starter—for their luxurious feel and used them across all materials. The menu’s checkered board layout organizes food categories effectively, while high-quality images enhance visual appeal.

Research on high-end restaurant branding and the symbolic meaning of colors in Chinese culture informed my design choices. After sketching multiple concepts, I refined them into the final design. a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.

Trifold brochure

Upper Crust Bakery, a French-style establishment, sought a new logo to accompany its relocation. The design reflects its French influence and commitment to quality through clean lines, legible typography, and strong colors.

Upper Crust Bakery’s logo targets ages 21 to 65 with a clean, legible design that blends classic appeal with modern interest. Inspired by the French flag, blue conveys trust and reliability, while red adds warmth and draws attention to the brand. The Al Fresco font adds a French flair, while Minion Pro lends tradition and respectability. A croissant icon reinforces the bakery theme, creating a balanced and cohesive design.

This project involved designing a business logo and stationery using Adobe Illustrator, leveraging the Shape Builder tool for custom gaps and text manipulation for visual balance. For example, I repositioned the “U” in Upper Crust to enhance symmetry and appeal. The logo features clean lines, balanced typography, and bold colors to establish hierarchy. The stationery maintains consistency through cohesive elements and a unified color scheme.
